A couple months ago, Ragan Communications made some noise when it started hosting a government PR “insider.”
Well, if you haven’t noticed, the post has been vacant since Sept. 19. Unfortunately, the unnamed blogger — Deep Background — became tired over the fuss about his anonymity, and the outrage of some bloggers. And, here too.
Yes, at first, I didn’t like the relationship of Ragan hosting the gov’t insider. However, it is defnitely better than nothing. Which is what is there now.
So, if you work for the government — preferably federal, I suppose — and work in PR, there’s a blog with your name on it.
Oh, BTW, I updated my links — added some new ones — and removed the government insider one. If no one is manning it — or womaning it, for that matter — why link to it. I will keep checking at Ragan to see if Deep Background II has been found.
